Upcoming topics for our Friday Zoom conversations include Age Appropriate Stories on October 1st at 4:30 EDT. October 8th, we will share information of using props.
A variety of criteria can be used when selecing age appropriate stories. The Fariy Dust Teaching website has suggestions on selecting fairy tales. Waldorf Schools use fairy tales/myths/etc. throughout all grades.
We have 5 mini presentations from our members and time to discuss. Will we all agree? Take Little Red Riding Hood; would you tell it preschool, middle grades, high school? What about 2 year olds? I think there is more to this topic than meets the eye.
On October 8th, we will have presentations on flannel board, musical instruments, and other props. More about that later.
